With a little finessing of our large mallard ducks and some fancy paintwork we were able to make these cutie birds. We might add them to our website!

“The post office have advised that this box did not have enough padding or cushioning as the item inside the box could easily to be shifted around inside the box even though there is some paper wrapping inside the box, the box it self wont withstand if there is any other heavy parcel on top of the item.Due to this we are unable to refund postage or contents.”

Our black cockatoo which takes hours of precise work is packed with the upmost protection. Its is wrapped in large bubble wrap multiple times, covered in a 6.5mm layer of foam and then placed into shredded paper in a large cardboard box that’s covered in neon orange fragile tape. We then pay a pretty price for shipping and extra cover insurance.

Yet #auspost won’t pay out when the boxes arrive damaged and the product inside is broken to pieces. What’s the point of paying for extra cover!
